The Good And Bad Of Coffee

Even the pineapple filling are hand grated. All are purely own handmade. That's why the price is much higher. It costs RM23 for just even 26 pieces! I can finish all 26 of them within 2 days, if I want.

As for the melting butter cookies, it is somehow like dissolved when put into your mouth. There is another type which is the crunchy type. I prefer the melting taste.

Where is this place? Oops, I didn't get the address and contact from the restaurant this time. Waraku Japanese Restaurant is located in Ipoh Garden East, around the new shoplots area. That was my first visit to the restaurant. We chose to sit on the floor, to enjoy how Japanese dine. I noticed that there were so many wine racks in the restaurant. I dared not try the wine as I tasted 'sake' before and I couldn't take more than two sips!

Anyway, the waiter recommended us this special sake, Choya Umeshu. It is a type of plum wine and it tasted good. Most suitable for ladies, as it is not too sweet and not too sour. Just 50ml in the small cute little bottle cost us RM18.


Hubby always orders barbecue food whenever he visits Japanese restaurant. That night, we ordered barbecued asparagus, hackberry and chicken meat. We both felt that the food was too salty.

Steamboat In Shooting Club

I dare not publish my criticism with the "LOUSY" in the title. I shall comment the steamboat in Shooting Club an under-rated one. Where is the club? Well, it is at Gopeng Road, a few miles down the road from Casuarina Hotel.

We ordered corn soup and it was tasteless. The soup doesn't seem nice too, right?

A plate of fried wanton and fish cakes as appertizer.

Not much varieties to eat here. I couldn't have my favourite meatballs as well because the club is serving halal food.

Luckily, we have some sauce to add the taste of the food. Anyway, the peanut chilli sauce is not that nice too. :-(

I will not go back to the club and have such steamboat again!
