White Coffee Spot

I heard that First Habour Coffee Shop in First Garden is the branch of Nam Heong Coffee Shop in old town. Don't know how sure it is! Anyway, I find its white coffee nice too. Of course la, Nam Heong's is the best!

I used to eat the 'wan tan mee' here, but this time I found that the owner of the stall is changed. I doubt this is the one I usually patronised. After tasting the 'wan tan mee', I'm very sure that this is not my taste. ~ that's why picture uploaded turns to be so small already. Not nice mar....so no mood to enlarge it. Anyway, I don't think I'll try this noodle again. Maybe I try something else during my another visit.

My Favourite Food

Thanks a lot for the tag, IpohWay3. I've seen this tag for quite a long time in other bloggers' blogs. I wait and wait, thinking nobody would want to tag me on this. Luckily you turn up!

Hmmm....when asked about favourite food, I was totally lost these few days. I like so much food, which is my favourite? I have my answer finally! It is the Banana Pie from McDonald!

I love craving this snack. Maybe it's made up of banana gravy. My kids and I love banana, and all those banana flavoured snacks. I tasted apple pie from McDonald too, but I prefer this. Banana pie is one of the new item in the menu lately. Those who haven't tasted must try it!

I may not be good at capturing the best view of it, but the taste makes it different. The banana creamy gravy is so sweet ~ not too sweet till you vomit, please....I just don't know how to describe. Its taste is more than a thousand words.

Snacks For Supper

It was already 9:30pm on Wednesday night. I just finished attending Wei's music class. My tummy started to "grrrrr....", so hungry because my last meal was at 5pm. I wanted to have some snacks at Ever Fresh, but it was closed. I drove to another coffee house nearby, unfortunately it was closed too. I then decided to eat at Friday Cafe, located in Greentown.

Turkey Cheddar Cheese Sandwich and a glass of Soursop with Nata De Coco

At first, I thought I may be full with just above, but it was just like my appertizer. Somemore I shared a bit with my Wei. She loves ham and sausage too. That's why, my next dish to be ordered was sausages

Coney Island Sausages
(oops, should have 4, gobbled by Wei so fast....)

Thinking of taking more photos to update my food blog here, I ordered another sandwich instead. Of course, I still could take in, or else why should I order so many?? Not cheap one wor, these sandwiches cost RM7.90 for each plate.

Betty Crocker's Tuna Melt

For those cheese lovers, this may really melts your heart out. As for me, I do like cheese. I prefer ham more than tuna, but I still feel that this croissant with tuna and cheese really tastes good. I might not choose it if it doesn't have cheese inside!

Thai Food Kopitiam

When I first saw its new opening in Ipoh Garden South, I 'vowed' to go there once I'm free. Sound serious, huh? I'm always like that, always want to try new stuff. After Wei's art class last Sunday, I feel a bit hungry, so I persuaded my gal to have some snack at Asien Barista. It is a Thai food Kopitiam, but unfortunately I didn't have the chance to try out the Thai dish as their kitchen was closed that time when I patronised. I just ordered some toast bread and a jar of honey green tea for Wei and me.

It has a comfortable environment, and that place is quite windy especially when sitting along the corridor.

Left ~ Honey Green Tea ;
Right ~ Kaya and Butter Toast Soft Bun ;
Bottom ~ Kaya and Butter Toast White Bread....common food niah....

Wei prefers to eat those buns with honey, though it's not to be served like that! Honey is for tea, but I let her, she has the right to eat with her way, rite?

I personally find that the tea jar is cute. Forgive me for being so 'ulu' la...ok? not seeing the world much mar....

Can you see the knob at the side of the jar? I was so silly to ask the waitress how I'm supposed to pour the tea out!

Just press the knob, and the tea will drip down, and I then can pour it into my cup! This is used to control the level of strong taste of the tea only.....LOL ...Thanks for the demo, Wei !!

"LAUYA" IroIro Buffet Restaurant

This is the place, located at ground floor in Ipoh Parade. That was the most lowsy buffet that I ever had! Nothing much to eat even at 8pm! And they dare to charge RM30 per head!

These were what we had last night. Just a few types of sushi. Western food le? Can't differentiate whether western or chinese style??!! No mood to take its photo liao...coz not much choices to pick, most of the trays were empty on the table.....nothing to show.... :(

Anyway, its environment is fine, space is broad enough for children to run a bit.

Service is bad too. Those young men don't know how to serve at all. I asked for spoons and forks twice, but then they didn't turn up for me. I have to request for few times till my hubby rather took it for me was even faster!

Brunch At Happy Valley Cafe

It was Labour Day yesterday. My dad and I were not working, I then invited him for a brunch at Happy Valley Cafe near Padang Besar there. That area has turned into a dining area with one whole row of cafes and restaurants. The cafe is actually next to Old Town Kopitiam. At first we all thought that it'll sure be defeated by Old Town, coz it opens right next door. Despite that, it does have its regular customers and it's business is not bad too!

It carries the name of HK turf club. That's why they put pictures of horses in their cafe as display decorations.

My dad is not really interested with the type of food in kopitiam. I then persuaded him that this cafe is different from Old Town. It has more varieties of food and desserts too.

Left ~ Wat Tan Hor (looks nice ya...);
Right ~ Tomato Chicken Spaghetti;

Left ~ Seafood Baked Cheese Rice (quite tasty too, even my dad praised the food);
Right ~ A good drink to enjoy....Jasmine Tea Honey

Ice Cendol ~ not the one of my taste.... :(
