Lunch At Hard Rock Hotel, Bali

*Backdated Post*

After 3 hours flight, we finally arrived at Bali Ngurah Rai Airport at around 2pm on 24 August. Our tour guide was waiting there to pick us up. We then headed to our hotel for rest. Lovelymummy, her hubby, my Wei and I stayed at Hard Rock Hotel, while Shoppingmum and her family stayed at Nikko Hotel.

Zi Wei and I were very tired and we both were delighted to see our room. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a honeymooner room because I was with a child. Actually it didn't have much difference, just an additional sofa, free condoms and a sweet cake! LOL

I quickly settled my luggage, fill up warm water in the tub, bathed Wei and myself before we went for lunch. While walking towards our dining place, I passed by the swimming pools and it was so beautiful. There is a mini sand beach next to baby pool. My girl yelled that she wanted to go and swim. I promised her I would on the next following day.

We had our meal in Starz Diner, a coffee house in the hotel. It was almost 3:30pm, and we had to go out for dinner at 5:30pm later! Damn early! We were starving. No choice, but to eat little bit as "alas perut".

My girl was given a treat while waiting for the food to be served. Our Lil’rocker was given a colouring book and two balloons. Wow, she was so happy ya!

Here are the snack and drinks we had that day. First came the smoothies with homemade ice-cream and frozen yogurt mix. Cost Rp. 28,000 ( approx RM11.20) each.

Tropical Rock ~ mango, passionfruit, banana, papaya

Funky Monkey ~strawberry, apple juice, banana

Buns with butter and jam given, served with soup ~ but, the buns were too hard!

What's this cute, smoky pot?

Mushroom Cappuccino ~ creamy mushroom soup with parmesan crouton Rp.4,000 (RM16)

Fresh Vietnamese Spring Roll ~ roasted beef, tomato, cucumber and coriander spring served with nuoc nam sauce. Rp.42,000 (RM16.80)

In Da Club Sandwich ~ toasted wheat bread layered with smoked chicken, bacon, fried egg, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion and french fries. Rp. 48,000 (RM19.20)

While walking along the corridor back to our rooms, we admired the decorations along the pathway and shops.

My Wei felt these two little ant statues funny. They are placed in front of a bakery shop. You may wonder why these ants are made to play guitar? This is 'Hard Rock', which stands the meaning of 'Rock N Roll', playing musical bands, and guitars were the fame of it. I didn't read the history of this hotel, but I know it has something to do with 'The Beatles'. Is this hotel built as a tribute to the honoured singers? I'm not sure. I just can see guitars hanging on the wall with the musician's names attached.

MORE UPDATES WILL BE EXHIBITED SOON......STAY TUNE!

Great Stay at Nikko Bali

Sahara Hotel Casino

Wow, can you all see these beautiful pictures? This is Sahara hotel in Las Vegas. Oh, I love this place. The environment poses a relaxing and wonderful holiday if I were to stay here for a long vacation. Men should love this place as Sahara Hotel Casino features a spacious room for gaming. Women will find their pleasure in this hotel too. Dining, shopping, fitness and beauty service and lots more to get ourselves busy the whole day. There are all kinds of entertainment too like shows and performances at the hotel lounge. Great music, comedy and lots of celebrity impressions with The Scintas (pronounced Shin-tahs), is now at the Sahara Hotel & Casino. Sounds lots of fun! I would definitely choose Sahara Hotel if I visit Las Vegas.

Home Based Business

Nowadays, working from home is a trend which really succeeds. I know quite a lot of SAHM who make a good living by just working from home. I aspire to be a success woman like them too. I then find this business opportunity online where I could make $2,000 extra or more each month while selling jewelry at home. These pieces of jewelry are attractive and this makes them sell by itself! I'll have less headache of worrying my small circle of friends group and family in trying to promote the products. All I have to do is to invest $497 for the startup guide and I'm guaranteed 100% money back within 4 weeks if I'm not satisfied with it. This sounds more secure to me.

DaVinci Baby Furniture

Hubby and I will be moving to our new house together with our kids very soon next year. I'm too excited in thinking of how I should decorate bedrooms for my lovely kids. They are still young, I may put them together in the same room. Planning to choose Da Vinci baby furniture for their bedroom. A double-decker, a writing table attached with racks and cupboards, and a wardrobe are more than enough in a small room that they are going to have. Of course, wallpaper with some cartoons design which they both like is my another plan for their beautiful sleeping nest.

Quick Trophies

As a principal of a tuition centre, I have to get every source which provides the best stationeries and prices when come to purchasing. I may organise Mental Arithmetic Competition among students twice a year. Therefore, I'm looking for some academic trophies that look more special than those I've made last time.

I found this trophy attractive when browsing Quick Trophies. It has five colour choices, which are brown, green, orange and red besides blue. My students are sure to love this! The star will be spinning all day long. I can never find such amazing trophy in any shoplots around town.

Romantic Bed & Breakfast

I'm already back from Bali. It was a nice trip, but I inspire a romantic trip with hubby. How I wish to have the perfect romantic Bed & Breakfast for my holiday!

How lovely it looks for this elegant guest bedrooms at the McMillan Inn! Its sweety pink features a romantic Victorian ambiance for couples to enjoy their rest in the room. Well period furnishings, fireplaces and lavish bathrooms add in the great facilities that they have in the couple's love nest. Well, this would be my dream which I hope to reach in the next coming holiday.

Blog Break....Away To Bali :)

I'll be away to Bali tonight! This trip has been dragged since early February this year.....long story to tell. Anyway, there will be a blog break for 4 days here. Don't miss me ya... but I do hope you all will... ;)

There will be updates about my travel when I'm back next Tuesday. Hang on......

Again, Full Stomach!

I've just been to MovenPeak last Wed. This time, also on Wed, I went for steamboat with hubby and friends at its another compartment. There are a lot of varieties of food, even fruits and desserts. We chose two soup and I like the porridge as soup.

It looks plain though, it's sweet.....yummmmy...but, we people overboiled the soup, it was 'burnt'!! LOL

This restaurant is halal. Therefore, the ball ball that you see are either beef or chicken. Too much to eat, once settle on our seats and started eating, we couldn't even get up for a walk. Stomach was full and big ya....;)

This Herb Soup was tasty.....can imagine it's a popular demand. The restaurant charged us extra RM5 on this!

We spent over RM110 on the dinner steamboat. They charged per head, so if divided, approximately RM25 per person added tax. Well, do you think worth it? Yes, I do, IF you are a great-eater.

Why Don't You Tell Earlier?

There is a new kopitiam originated from Hong Kong style in Jusco. Its name is named as "Food & Tea". There are western and chinese food, with all kinds of juices and mocktails. There are lovely desserts too ~ seen lovely in the menu. I supposed to like this place as the renovation there is beautiful, quite a nice place to dine.

First came the dessert which I feel good....

Yam & Pumpkin Dessert

It has cincau and sago underneath.....later then I know!

Ham Spaghetti Bolognese

Unfortunately, this kopitiam left me a bad impression last Friday while dining with my girl. There were so much frustration rushing towards me that time until I had no mood to take the next picture of my Creamy Cheese Chicken Rice.

While enjoying my dessert, my girl asked me to bring her to the washroom. This is what I dislike the most and she keeps on with the bad habit. Everytime when the food is served, sure she'll ask for pee. I reminded her before entering the kopitiam whether she wanted to go to the washroom first but she refused. I just felt unsafe with the food laid exposed on the table where nobody kept an eye on it! What if some bad people around, putting something bad into our food? How many times have I told to my girl about that!

Well, I was already dark-faced when back from the washroom. My girl then took her spaghetti quietly. After a few minutes, she stopped. She couldn't take it anymore. It was spicy because too much pepper. I thought of exchanging my chicken rice with her. As I fed her the first spoonful, she couldn't even close her mouth! She nearly cried out, complaining that her lips were like being burnt! The rice was more spicy than the spaghetti!! Damn! Why were all the food spicy? There was no description or any picture sign telling us that the food is spicy! Somemore it was named, Creamy Cheese Chicken Rice!!! I complained and scolded the waitress ~ I know she has nothing to do with it. It wasn't her who served me. But, I was so angry! Somebody has to be the victim! I just not satisfied......WHY DON'T THEY TELL EARLIER, OR MENTION IN THE MENU!!! The spaghetti was so wasted. How could I finish two big plates of dish? I just could choose one. I dared not order anymore, worried I might get another spicy dish again!

I purposely put this up to express my frus and anger. Anyway, their food is so so only. Not due to my prejudice, but the rice was cold and quite hard to chew, can say not fresh at all!

Full Stomach On Wednesday

Zi Wei and I had a full supper at MP, Greentown last night. If you haven't been there before, you should do so as that is a beautiful and spacious dining restaurant. The place is decorated with colourul lights and other attractive accessories. There are two compartments in this building. You can either enjoy the air-conditioned or the windy air at outdoor bar. There are so many varieties to choose. You can go for steamboat, pizza, steak, noodles or even dim sum.

The exposed area ~ sorry, it's a bit dark....had tried my best...

We chose to expose to the cozy breeze outdoor. We picked a dining table under a roofy tent with a personal ceiling fan on top.

I can't help myself but took a few photos of my silly girl.... :P , to show the environment at the same time....

Hungry girl hunting for my mixed juice ~ carrot, celery and orange

Seafood Claypot Udon

A clear view on the content ~ prawn, fish slices, sotong, mushroom, dunno yu piu or hoi sam, vege, soup is sweeeet....

Club Sandwich plate ~ ham, bacon, cheese, egg, cucumber, vege in sandwich; salad and potato wedges as side dishes

I didn't know that the portions are that much! We both were so full that night. Yet, an hour later we would be sleeping like a pig..... LOL
