Treatment For Phlegm

Sometimes, the phlegm in you really makes you uneasy. I just don't understand why it can be so much storing in my body till I spit non-stop in a day. Yet, it is still there!

Well. to get rid of phlegm, we must first identify the different types to get the approriate treatment. The colour of the phlegm can indicate your health status. Phlegm that is clear, white or pale is normally a sign of viral infection in the body. Yellow, brown or green phlegm indicates that the body is fighting an infection. Greenish or brownish phlegm can also be a sign of pneumonia or internal micro-bleedings. Smokers may cough up brown or brownish gray phlegm as the body expels tar or resin built up from smoking or inhaling.

Below are certain treatment for phlegm,

1) Quit smoking

Regular smokers tend to cough up brown or grayish phlegm, an indication by the body that they're smoking too much. Phlegm with streaks of blood could be an indication of lung cancer.

2) Use a decongestant

A nasal spray or decongestant will help get rid of phlegm for those who are suffering from a sinus infection, a cold or the flu.

3) Take an expectorant

This help those suffering from bronchitis or a chest cold to loosen up their phlegm. It brings relief to people suffering from chest congestion or an infection in the lungs or bronchial tubes, and is supposed to loosen the phlegm and make them cough.

4) Avoid cough suppressants and throat lozenges

If cough suppressants and throat lozenges are taken, this will suppress or numb the pain of a cough and allow more mucous and phlegm to build up.

5) Spit the phlegm out

Phlegm functions as a sticky film, filled with infection fighting substances, which attaches itself to the lining of the bronchial tubes and lungs. Once the substance has served its purpose, it needs to be expelled in the form of phlegm as swallowing would reintroduce it back into the lung.

Drink more water so the the phlegm is not too sticky and easy to spit out. Avoid alcohol, coffee and tea as these will cause dehydration. If the phlegms are accompanied by fevers, chills, chest pains, or other health problems, antibiotics might be needed then.

A Night At Pizza Hut

My little girl has been asking me to Pizza Hut every Saturday whenever we go out for dinner with my parents. I always talk her into giving it up because my mum can't take heaty food. Anyway, it was me who gave in this time. Pity popo....has to see us nibbling on our pizzas.

The Malay staff there were very slow in their working pace. Even though there were so many people waiting for order, they still took their own street time. After waiting for more than 20 minutes, our favourite pizzas were served.

Hawaiian Chicken (left) & Island Supreme (right) ~ my usual order.

"Why is mummy always have to take photos? I want to eat NOW!!" *impatience look*

Mmmmm...delicious..... *slurp slurp*

Due to ezcema, I dared not give my son those cheesy ingredients on the pizzas. I dug out the top layer on every slices of pizza, leaving those bread for him. Sounds pity ya.... :(
No choice! My heart feels more painful when I see him scratching non-stop till the skin cracks and bleeds.

All of them enjoyed themselves very much last night. Since then, my dear son always mentions about going to Pizza Hut each and every minutes! Ha!

Local Maytag Refrigerators

My mother is a very updated type. I do not mean her fashion or hairstyle. I mean that she is very alert to new products especially to home and kitchen appliances. She has told me about getting a new refrigerator at home but my dad refuses as the current one is still in good order. I made fun of her that she can spoilt it by hammering it by all her might! Haha!

Actually she has a great interest in Maytag Refrigerators. Maytag products are famous of its good quality. There are various kind of refrigerators models to be chosen in the website. Consumers' reviews can be read for some of the models too. My mum has to try persuading my dad harder to get her dream refrigerator.

Mother-In-Law Is A Great Cook

Look here! Isn't she a great cook? It was my hubby's birthday yesterday ~ based on the Chinese calendar, actual birthday is the 27th of November.

She can even bake salted crabs. She just learnt it from a short lesson on the television, and there she was, prepared those yummy crabs for us so easily.

MIL used to prepare a drumstick and two eggs for the birthday boy or girl in her family. Hubby told me that this has been usual since they were a child. Anyway, she didn't do it for me as she said she only can remember her own children's birthday...... :(
It's fine, as I don't like this kind of food.

Boston Red Sox Spring Training Tickets

Hubby has a strong interest in sports and will definitely attend the game matches or just switch on the television if he is free. Badminton game, ping pong game, football match and baseball match are those of his favourite. Unfortunately, he is too busy to go after these matches for almost half a year.

I know that there will be Red Sox Spring Training in Boston. I am thinking of giving him a surprise. I am told about a good website where I can get Spring Training Tickets for the Red Sox online. I just need to pay with any of my credit cards and the tickets will be shipped within 48 hours. I am convinced with the note stated in the website that all orders are 100% guaranteed. I have full confident with the website as it has 28 years of experience.

I plan to accompany hubby even though I don't like sports. This is what a wife should do, right?

Sushi Supper

My little girl here really knew how to enjoy herself. She chose the sofa seat once she stepped into the cafe. There was a screen in front of us like the above picture. We both watched the Astro 9:30pm Hong Kong movie while having our sushi supper. After eating, Zi Wei then laid her body on the sofa like a "sleeping buddha" while enjoying movies and MTVs on screen.

Where were we? We were at Ice Boy Cafe with wifi facility. Well, the place is comfortable and clean. Especially we were entertained while eating!

Actually what can we eat here? The name sounds like a western cafe, but it actually sells Japanese food. I was surprised too.

Unagi Sushi & Unagi Handroll ~ Unagi is our favourite!!

Grape, Apple & Watermelon Ice Juice

Mango Yogurt

This is a nice place if you wish to go online while having something for your tummy. It is quiet not crowdy. Well, where is this cafe? The address is as below.

Add. : No. 2-1, Persiaran Greentown 8, Pusat Perdagangan Greentown, 30450 Ipoh. Perak.

Rare Gold Coins Investment

Everyone needs a trendy and wealthy lifestyle, but not all can succeed in it. Some work very hard but the earning he manages to get is just enough for a living. We shouldn't let our life stay on like that if we want to improve our living style.

What would I do in order to go after wealth? I would invest in some rare gold coins for a better future. As a woman, it is advisable to be more intelligent in manipulating our savings than just rely on hubby for surviving. Monaco Rare Coin has a group of expert professionals who may guide and advise us when investing. It lowers the investing risks with the existance of the expertise.

Mouth Watering Dim Sum

Hubby sent a forwarded email to me recently. He must know me very well which makes him do this. He knows that I love food, especially dim sum and desserts. I want to share all these mouth watering photos to everyone who read my blogs.

I don't know where can we taste these dim sum and desserts. From the webpage written on the pictures, I guess these can be found in Hong Kong or Taiwan. I hope somebody can tell me that I can go for the desserts in Malaysia! At least it is possible for me to go after my favourite it! Hehehe....

0% Credit Cards

It is the usual lifestyle of the working group from any races in the world to own at least a credit card. Their opinion is that it is more convenient to carry cards than stacks of paper notes and coins in the wallets or purses. Applying credit cards is essential for those who like shopping especially shopping online.

I agree to get at least a credit card for ourselves because if really we are cashless and in need to purchase something on the spot, the card may help a lot at that time. Anyway, we must be very careful and make sure we don't exceed our expenses budget while swiping the cards. It is very dangerous and may lead to debts.

Well, I therefore have a good news to all who is interested. Check out the 0% credit cards for details in CardGuide. You may enjoy 0% interest purchase rate for a certain period. Besides, anyone here can choose to apply for balance transfers to save up your pockets! There are lots of advantages to be viewed in the website.
