Mostly Fried And Oily Food

During my KL tour on Monday, I went to Vietnam Restaurant for dinner with hubby and his new partners. This restaurant is located at the 2nd floor of One Utama, Damansara. Most of the tables were occupied and this showed that their business is good. The environment is comfortable with those dim lights on. The designs of light on the wall were attractive, that's why I took a photo of that.

I'm going to share the dish that we had that night. Overall, the food tasted fine but I felt that they were a bit too oily and most of them were either fried or grilled.

Seafood Salad as our appetizer

Special Beef Noodle Soup ~ its light beef broth garnished with fresh Vietnamese herbs

Sliced Chicken & Spring Roll Noodle

The rice vermicelli and fresh veggi served with fish sauce. Light and refreshing taste.

Pork Rib & Papaya Soup

Besides main dish, we did ordered a lot of side dishes. Wow! Nearly cannot finish......

Fried Chicken Drumsticks

Crispy Net Spring Roll ~ filled with minced pork, yam, mushrooms, glass noodles & prawns

Vietnamese Crispy Pancake ~ Pan-fried Crepe filled with fresh prawns, mung beans & bean sprouts

Satay Beef ~ these are specially for beef cravers

Above were the three special drinks that we tried that evening......

Left ~ Cold Water Chestnut;
Middle ~ Tumeric Tea;
Right ~ Vietnamese Six Treasures ( six delicacies such as longan, red dates, agar-agar, white fungus, raisins, lotus root and a touch of pamelo essence, cooling and refreshing drink! )
Whoever happens to pass by the restaurant may go and have a try on Vietnamese food, if you like fried and grilled stuff... we must try everything in our life, agree? :)
